KSI's Yanited put on a Baller League masterclass as they crushed Ginge FC 5-2 in Gameweek 8, with Marcus Bell scoring a stunning hat-trick to extend his golden boot lead.

Yanited 5-2 Ginge FC — Gameweek 8 Report

KSI’s Yanited strengthened their grip on top spot with a dominant 5-2 victory over an unfortunate Ginge FC at Baller Arena on Saturday evening. The result sends Yanited four points clear at the summit with just three gameweeks remaining in the regular season.

First Half

Yanited were ruthless from the opening whistle. Marcus Bell opened the scoring after just three minutes, capitalising on a defensive error from the Ginge FC backline. Bell doubled the lead in the seventh minute with a composed finish — and it could have been more before the half time whistle.

AngryGinge’s side showed some fight through Sam Adeyemi, who pulled one back in the twelfth minute with a powerful strike from the right side of the box. But within 90 seconds, Yanited restored their two-goal advantage through Bell’s hat-trick goal — a superb left-footed curler into the top corner.

Second Half

The second half began with Ginge FC pushing forward desperately looking for a route back into the game. They found it through Adeyemi again — his second of the match, a bullet header at the far post.

But Yanited were simply too clinical on the night. Two further goals — one from a penalty after what would have been a corner kick, and a breakaway goal in the closing minutes — ensured all three points stayed at the top of the table.

The Game Changer

The four-goal gap when the Game Changer period began meant Yanited could afford to sit back and see out the match. Despite the 3v3 format and double goals rule, Ginge FC couldn’t find the net — the match ended at 5-2 on the full-time whistle.

Talking Points

  • Marcus Bell is now on 14 goals for the season — three ahead of his nearest rival Rico Chambers in the golden boot race
  • Yanited have now won six of their eight matches and are strong favourites for the Final Four
  • AngryGinge was gracious in defeat but admitted his side “have to do better defensively” in the remaining games
