Every champion, every season. Here is the complete history of Baller League UK — from its 2025 debut through to the 2026 Season 4 reboot.

A young league making rapid strides

Baller League UK is one of the youngest competitions in British football, yet it has already packed in four seasons, three different champions and a high-profile move away from traditional television. This is the story of the league so far.

What is Baller League UK?

Baller League is a 6-a-side football competition built for entertainment. Teams play two 15-minute halves, with two wildcards per side and the signature Game Changers — six rule changes activated at the 12th and 27th minutes of every match. The UK edition launched in 2025, bringing the format (already popular in Germany) to an English audience through major broadcast coverage before moving online-only for Season 4.

Season 1 (2025)

The league’s inaugural UK season introduced the 12-team, 11-matchday format and crowned its first champion. SDS FC went all the way, winning the Final 4-3 against Prime FC after a playoff run that had knocked out Deportrio (who had topped the regular season).

  • Champions: SDS FC

Season 2 (2025–26)

Season 2 saw a new regular-season pace-setter in M7, but it was Wembley Rangers AFC who lifted the title. They beat SDS FC 4-3 in the Final, denying SDS back-to-back championships.

Season 3 (2026)

Season 3 delivered one of the tightest campaigns yet. NDL topped the table on 26 points, with Deportrio (23), Prime FC (21) and SDS (20) completing the Final Four. In the playoffs, Prime — the third seed — beat Deportrio 5-3 in their semi-final, then dismantled NDL 5-2 in the Final at a sold-out O2 Arena to be crowned champions. Read the full Season 3 review.

Season 4 (2026) — a new era

Season 4 arrives with major changes. The league moved to an online-only broadcast model after its Sky Sports deal ended, and the line-up was reshaped:

  • Yanited → RTG FC, now managed by Danny Aarons
  • Rukkas FC → P17 FC, now managed by Alex Iwobi
  • Toma joined as a brand-new franchise under Jay-Jay Okocha
