Two famous Baller League UK franchises have new identities and a brand-new club has joined the league. Here is the story behind RTG FC, P17 FC and Toma.
A summer of change
Every new season brings new faces, but Season 4 of Baller League UK has gone further than most. Two of the league’s longest-standing franchises have been rebranded, and a brand-new club has joined the competition. If you are coming back to the Baller League after a break, here is everything you need to know about the three new names on the team sheet.
RTG FC — Yanited reborn
RTG FC is the new identity of a club that fans will remember as Yanited. The franchise has a new look, a new name and a new manager: Danny Aarons, the football-content creator whose videos, challenges and personality have built him a huge following online.
The “Road to Glory” branding says it all. This is a team with a point to prove — a familiar badge with a fresh start and a manager who brings relentless competitiveness and banter in equal measure. You can read the full RTG FC team profile and Danny Aarons’ manager profile on the hub.
P17 FC — Alex Iwobi takes the reins
P17 FC is the rebranded Rukkas FC, and it arrives with genuine top-flight pedigree in the dugout. Alex Iwobi — the Nigeria international and Premier League winger who came through the Arsenal academy before spells at Everton and Fulham — is the new manager.
Iwobi’s flair, close control and football intelligence make him a natural fit for the fast, technical 6v6 format. Expect P17 to play expansive, attack-minded football with an emphasis on quick combinations — the kind of style that thrives when the Game Changers open the game up. Toma — the new franchise with a legend in charge
Toma are the newest club in the league, and they could not have picked a more fitting figure to lead them. Jay-Jay Okocha — the former Nigeria captain and Bolton Wanderers icon, famous for his outrageous skill and no-look passes — takes charge of the new franchise.
Okocha spent a career making defenders look foolish, and his philosophy of joyful, expressive football is a perfect match for the Baller League’s showstopping format. Toma are the great unknown of Season 4: a brand-new team with a legendary name in the dugout and flair baked into everything they do. Meet the Toma team and read Jay-Jay Okocha’s story.
Why the changes matter
Rebrands and new franchises are part of what keeps the Baller League fresh. A new identity can reset a club’s momentum, while a marquee manager transforms the way a team is watched and supported. For neutrals, it also means three genuinely new stories to follow when the season kicks off on 12 October 2026.
